In a low-scoring contest on Sunday, the Denver Broncos managed to secure a 13-11 win over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning go-ahead field goal to seal the ugly win.

Defensive Display Wins Game

Even with recording nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 after conceding a two-point play in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 total net yards during the contest.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's short field goal with just over five minutes left.

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets maintained the ball with a opportunity to score a possible victory. However Fields was sacked on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn opted to go for it instead of calling on specialist Nick Folk for a long field-goal attempt.
